The Railway Recruitment Board is going to organize various RPF Constable recruitment phases. Candidates have to undergo a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test. The CBT exam will tentatively be held will be soon on the various examination centers.

Examiners qualified and secured marks in the merit list, and the CBT shall have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and document verification (DV).

RPF/RPSF Constable Bharti 2020 Details

As per the official notification, the department will first conduct the computer-based test (CBT). The dates of the Exam will also be released on the official websites of Indian Railways. It is expected that exam is scheduled for 2020.

Qualified candidates in written test will be called for PET/PMT test. After completion of the document verification process, the final merit list will be made.

The date, time and venue for all the activities, namely, CBT, PET, PMT, and DV or any other additional activity, as applicable, shall be fixed by CRC and shall be intimated in due course. The entire recruitment process shall involve a

Phase-I: Indian Railway RPF Constable CBT Exam Pattern:
CBT shall be held at different centers across the country simultaneously for all the groups. The Standard of Exam will be the 10th/Matric level. Negative marks shall be awarded for every wrong answer. 1/3 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer.

It will be necessary to obtain 35% marks (30 % marks by SC and ST candidates) to qualify in the CBT. All the aspirants have to undergo a Computer Based Test on the specific Date, Time and Venue.

The question will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society, to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations and experiences as may be expected of any educated person.

The test will also include questions relating to Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, General Science, etc.

Railway Constable General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 Marks):

Questions on analogies, similarities, and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory,

discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, etc.

Phase-II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement (PMT):

Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, aspirants will be called for PET and PMT to the extent of 10 times the category wise total vacancy in Group of Zonal Railways/RPSF notified.

However, this time may be increased/decreased as required ensuring the availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory, and the same will be qualifying in nature. No marks are to be awarded. The criteria for PET are as under:

Phase-III: Document Verification (DV)

Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, candidates will be called for Document Verification. In cases of two or more candidates securing the same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria, i.e., the older person shall be given higher seniority.


RPF ( SI ) Sub Inspector Exam Pattern 2020

The first stage of the selection process in the Railway Protection Force Recruitment for the posts of Constable and Sub Inspector will be an online computer-based test. Candidates need to make sure they qualify for this stage in order to be eligible for the rest of the selection process in the recruitment. RPF Constable and Sub Inspector Physical Standards 2020

The second stage of the RPF recruitment for the posts of Constable and Sub Inspector will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurements Test (PMT). Candidates who have qualified for stage one will be eligible for this round of the selection process. All the candidates who have been selected to stage-II (Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurements Test) should make sure to meet the required measurements, if not they will be disqualified and won’t make it to the final round, which will be document verification.
