AFCAT Exam 2020 Salary

  • According to the defense matrix, a salary of Rs 56100- 177500 per month will be given.
  • During the course of 1-year training, the candidates will be given a fixed salary of Rs 56100 per month.
  • Air Force officer equipped accommodation, comprehensive medical cover for self and dependents, canteens, officers’ messes, loans at concessional rates, LTC facilities will be provided.
  • Candidates will be eligible for 60 days annual and 20 days casual leave service.
  • The candidates will be given cover insurance of one crore rupees. In addition, the Flying Branch Officer will be given an additional insurance cover of Rs 12 lakh.
  • The Indian Air Force provides state-of-the-art facilities for playing various sports and adventure activities (skydiving, microlight flying, mountaineering, water rafting, etc.).

AFCAT Exam 2020 Educational Qualification

Flying Branch:

  • Minimum 60% marks in each subject in Mathematics and Physics at 10 + 2 level.
  • Graduate (three-year course) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university.

  • BE / B. Tech. (four-year course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent

or

  • Clear Section A and B Examination of Institute Engineers (India) or Associate Member of Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Final year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any current backlog at the time of AFSB test and produce a degree certificate issued by the university as of the date specified in the advertisement.
  • The validity of NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate and certificate will be two years before the date of advertisement.

Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline with 60% marks from a recognized university
  • Or Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or equivalent from Aeronautical Society of India or Clear Section A and B examination with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university.

Ground Duty Technical Branch

Age Limit

  • Flying Branch: To apply for the post of the flying branch, the age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 24 years. The candidate must be born between 2 July 1997 to 1 July 2001.
