CGPSC Syllabus 2021

The CGPSC Recruitment usually have two Exams. They are

  1. Prelims Exam
  2. Main Exam.

CGPSC Prelims Exam Syllabus

Question Paper 1: It contains 2 parts called General Studies and General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh (Each part has 50 Questions and each question carries 2 marks with a duration of 2 hours).

  • Indian Economy
  • Constitution of India & Polity
  • Physical, Social & Economic Geography of India
  • Indian Philosophy, Art, Literature & Culture
  •  Current Affairs & Sports
  • General Science & Technology
  • Current Affairs & Sports
  • Environment.

Part 2: General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh

  • Chhattisgarh History, & Contribution of Chhattisgarh in the Freedom Movement
  • Climate, Physical status, Geography, Census, Archeological and Tourist Centres of Chhattisgarh
  • Forest, Economy, and Agriculture of Chhattisgarh
  • Local Government, Administrative Structure, and Panchayatiraj of Chhattisgarh
  • Art and Culture, Idioms, Literature, Music, Dance, and Proverbs, Puzzle/Riddle, Singing of Chhattisgarh
  • Energy, Water and Mineral Resource of Chhattisgarh and Current Affairs of Chhattisgarh
  • Tribes, Special Traditions, Teej and Festivals of Chhattisgarh.

Question Paper 2: Aptitude Test (100 Questions and each question carries 2 marks)

  • Knowledge of Hindi Language (Class X level)
  • Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi Language
  • Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, etc.), Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level).

CGPSC Main Exam consist of 7 different question paper and each paper carries 200 marks with 3 hours duration.
