- Pay Scale during the initial period of training: Rs. 14,600/- per month.

Indian Navy Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates applying for the vacancies are requested to go through the Indian Navy eligibility criteria. The educational qualifications the candidates must possess are as follows:
- Direct Entry Petty Officer/ Senior Secondary Recruit: Candidates must have completed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized institution.
- Matric Recruit: Candidate must have passed 10th grade or its equivalent.
- Tradesmen Mates: Candidates must have completed the 10th examination from a recognized board. Candidates must have completed ITI Trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
All candidates applying for the sailor post must have participated in individual or team sports games. Candidates who have participated in individual events must have attained a minimum of 6th position in National (Senior) level or 3rd position in National (Junior) level in the Inter-University meets.
