JKSSB Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the available vacancies in JKSSB recruitment in 2021 must go through the educational qualifications below before applying: 

• Jal Shakti: Candidate must have completed three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from any government recognized institute or university.
• Draftsman (Civil): Candidates must have completed a two-year Draftsman Training Course Certificate/ Diploma from any government recognized institute.
• Junior Stenographer/ Junior Scale Stenographer/ Junior Assistant: The applicant must have completed graduation from any recognized university. A minimum speed of 65 and 35 words per minute in shorthand and typewriting is mandatory, along with a six-month certificate course in computer applications.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit as of January 1, 2021, to be followed by candidates are given below:

• General: 40 years
• PH/PwD: 42 years
• Ex-Serviceman: 48 years
• Govt Servant/ Contract: 40 years
• All Other Categories: 43 years

• OBC/ General/ SC/ ST/ Cat-I/PH: Rs. 350/-
