Railways Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2021

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience
The qualifications the candidate must posses are given below:
Trade Apprentice
- The applicant must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Board.
- National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training is mandatory.
Age Limit
Age criteria for the vacancies are given below:
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Maximum age: 24 years
Note: In the case of SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years, and in the case of other candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years. In the case of OBC members, the time limit is 5 years.
Central Railway Recruitment 2021 Selection Process
Selection process for the vacancies are based on merit list. The merit list will be compiled using a combination of percentage of marks in matriculation (minimum of 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the trade in which the Apprenticeship will be completed.
