Border Security Force (BSF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has invited applications for the post of ASI, HC and Constable in DM GDE-III for Group 'C' Combatized (Non-Gazetted-Non Ministerial) Services like Carpenter, Plumber, Sewerman, Generator Operator, Generator Mechanic and Lineman. Applications are invited for recruitment to the posts at bsf.gov.in.

Director General Border Security Force (BSF) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for recruitment to the post of Group C. In this recruitment of BSF, eligible candidates are to be selected for 72 posts of constable, head constable and ASI.

BSF Group C Salary

• ASI - Pay Matrix Level-5 as per 7th CPC (Rs.29,200-92,300)
• HC - Pay Matrix Level-4 as per 7th CPC (Rs.25,500-81,100)
• Constable Level - 3. Rs. 21,700-69,100/-

Eligibility Criteria for BSF Group C Posts

• HC (Carpenter) - 10th Passed or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or Three years experience in relevant trade from reputed firm.
• HC (Plumber) - Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) with certificate in plumber trade or three years experience in relevant trade from reputed firm.
• Constable (Sewerman) Matriculation pass or its equivalent with experience in maintenance of sewerage.

What is Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2021

18 to 25 years

Physical Standard for Constable & HC

• Height: Male = 165 cm and Female = 157 cm
• Chest (Only for Male): 76 cms (Unexpected). Minimum Expansion - 81 cms.
• Weight: Height should be in proportion to age as per medical standards for male and female candidates.
• Physical Standard for Constable & HC:
• Height: Male = 167.5 cm and Female = 157 cm
• Chest (Only for Male): 80 cms (Unexpected). Minimum Expansion - 85 cms.
• Weight: Proportionate to age to height as per medical standards for male and female candidates.
