Delhi University has released bumper vacancies for the posts of Assistant Professor. Under this, a total of 251 posts will be recruited. In these, 90 posts of UR, 38 and 20 posts in SC and ST will be recruited. Apart from this, recruitment will be done on 69 and 25 posts of OBC, EWS. At the same time, 09 posts of PWD are to be appointed. Apart from this, candidates applying for these posts should have PG degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with NET exam qualification.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Post in Delhi University

Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor must fulfill the following criteria. which are as follows.

• Degree from any Government recognized university or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
• Candidates should have master's degree with 55% marks.
• Must have passed NET exam i.e. National Eligibility Test.

The notification which was issued earlier. There was a condition of having a PhD degree in it. However it has now been removed. That is, candidates who do not have a PhD degree can also apply.
