Job Description :

  • To manage large Incident Response Center (IRC) team, which is structured to both efficiently and effectively respond to cyber security threats
  • Develop, maintain, and lead an incident response management program that includes incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery and chain of evidence/ forensic artefacts required for additional investigations
  • To lead security experts in engineering security solutions and periodically assess efficacy of the technology
  • Direct the functions, processes, and operations of the cyber security and ensure policies, procedures, and objectives align with company goals
  • Monitor key performance indicators, determine and recommend techniques to improve efficiency / process improvements
  • Communicate the organization’s cyber security status and specific concerns to senior leadership
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, and customer requirements governing information security, personal identifiable information and assets
  • Monitor intelligence sources to identify potential threats/compromises which may target the company and develop proactive strategies to minimize the impact of these threats
  • To lead security analytics function consisting of big data specialists, security experts and programmers

Special Requirements
Technical and industry certifications (CISSP, GCFA/GNFA,GCIH/GDAT)

  • Identify, Detect and Mitigate Security Risk Through Proactive cyber defense functions
  • Lead end to end Incident Response function and engagement teams.
  • Define and build process functions in each phase of Incident management lifecycle for continuous maturity.
  • Analyze potential impact of new threats and exploits and communicate risks to relevant business and IT units
  • Coordinate efforts among multiple business units during response to a security incident and provide timely and relevant updates to appropriate stakeholders and decision makers
  • Hunt out, poke holes in, dig up, discover and share information that impacts organization’s security posture
  • Compile/analyze data for management reporting, metrics and KPI’s
  • Work with a set of guidelines to help identify critical event data for additional analysis and escalation as appropriate
  • Validate and maintain incident response plan and processes to address potential threats
  • Assist with development/testing of security incident response plan
  • Assist with security investigation and host & network forensic analysis
  • Respond to computer security incidents according to the defined Computer Security Incident Response Plan
  • Strong understanding of malware and exploit lifecycle
  • Ability to develop new processes for analyzing and evaluating threat activity
  • Produce intelligence products including emerging threat advisories, weekly threat trends, malware and malicious tool analysis
  • Monitor advanced threat detection and analysis tools to detect and validate intrusions beyond standard SOC services
  • Ability to understand strategic vision, develop objectives, and perform tasks to meet goals
  • Detailed understanding of advanced tactics and methods used in Cybercrimes, Hacktivism, and APTs
  • Accredited training, certification, or education in systems, networking and packet analysis
