According to media reports, the notification for recruitment can be issued in the last week of November or in the first week of December. Whereas the exam can be conducted in the last of January or in February. However, the dates for issuing the notification have not yet been announced by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

The recruitment process will consist of written exam, physical test, medical test and documents verification stage. The recruitment exam will be conducted offline, consisting of objective type multiple choice questions. There will be 150 questions in the exam, 2 marks will be given for each question, the total exam will be of 300 marks.

Selection Process for UP Police Recruitment For 25000 Constable Posts

Candidates will be selected for recruitment to these posts after written exam, physical test, medical test and documents verification. For more details candidates will be able to see in the notification.

The examination for recruitment will be conducted offline, the questions in this will be of objective multiple choice type. There will be 150 multiple choice questions in the exam, each question will carry 2 marks, totaling 300 marks.

In the exam, 38 questions will be asked from General Knowledge, 37 questions from General Hindi, 38 questions from Numerical and Mental Ability, 37 questions from Mental Ability, IQ and Reasoning Ability. Two hours will be given for the exam. There will be negative marking of (0.5) marks on the wrong answer. For which 2 hours will be given.
